Review of BlacKkKlansman (2018) by Brian S — 26 Oct 2018
The film America needs right now. Most of the dialogue is basically dripping in social satire, on racial issues of Trump's America. It's bold, powerful and inspiring. John David Washington, son of the great Denzel Washington, and Adam Driver are great, and it's amazing how they even manage to be comedic in this true story.
The musical score is also very cool, and using clips from The Birth of a Nation (1916), as well as shocking real life protest footage was an ingenious way to make the film even more powerful. Overall, I'd dare to name it best film of the year.
Recommended for sure!!
