Review of BlacKkKlansman (2018) by Kevin A — 25 Aug 2018
Although well made with some funny scenes, this is another bilious screed by Spike Lee who makes no effort to hide his contempt for conservative ideology and President Trump. Mr. Lee traffics in hyperbolic caricatures that lack all subtlety or measured words.
This story is supposedly based upon a "true story" yet there is no epilogue to introduce the real players nor explain the real final outcome. I almost enjoyed the film but left disgusted by once again having a Hollywood leftist shove his agenda in my face.
