A story that is relevant to our modern day issues surrounding race, police brutality, and inadequate federal policies. We view through the experiences of the protagonist how difficult it is to challenge the flawed system from within yet how important it is to do so.
Comedic moments, a strong message in regards to repeating a racist history, and complex characters trying to figure out how to deal with the racism they confront. Outstanding job done by Spike Lee.
