Review of BlacKkKlansman (2018) by Marco F — 01 Sep 2018
BLACKKKLANSMAN is a political statement for events during the Donald Trump presidency: it is really very powerful but I am not sure this film will endure the way that, say, DO THE RIGHT THING has. I wish the film had been more expansive in character but I guess Spike Lee had decided to focus entirely on his political statement of how much he hates this most hateful 45th president.
