Review of BlacKkKlansman (2018) by Eric G — 01 Sep 2018
Brilliantly crafted, intertwining a suspenseful undercover cop story with a engrossing history lesson without skipping a beat except for the memorable soundtrack of the "70's. Fully drawn characters, both on the good side, Washington and Driver as undercover cops and and bad side, with Klansman who are more than one dimensional.
Interspersed in the film are full speeches by both Black Power activists and KKK members, that provide both a history lesson and a sense of the time period with shortchanging either.
