Review of BlacKkKlansman (2018) by Dj I — 14 Aug 2018
Another wasted opportunity to deliver a unifying theme and message that instead is perverted into divisive, left wing propaganda. Hence the critics wetting themselves over it. Truth be told, erase all of Spike Lee's ridiculous, over the top, amateurish, and insulting attempts at manipulating people of all colors to believe in the fantasy that today and 40yrs ago are the same.
...this wouldnt be a half bad film. All of the elements are there for it to succeed and there is a nice blend of parody, danger, and comedy. Unfortunately, however, it gets drowned out by Lee's obsession with, once again, interjecting his politics into the story.
Meanwhile, its the 21st century. Somebody needs to let him in on that fact.
