Review of BlacKkKlansman (2018) by Jana D — 11 Aug 2018
Wow...THIS movie was on the level of The Color Purple or Roots as far as the impact...wow VERY smart move in use of comedy to dramatic scenes. I only object to using God's name in vain (God-d*-n)...they could've gotten the point across without this.
The audience was full IN PHOENIX AZ, TEMPE AZ TO BE EXACT...and though there were few people of color, there was applause when at end when a racist cop was arrested.
I was also moved by a woman that was in tears that because she now understood the struggle and said sorry to a woman of color and hugged her....the woman of color replied...no need to be sorry, you did not do this...stupid people did this'. So Spike Lee did an awesome job in getting the point across with this movie....I pray more people see it....thanks.
