Just horrible writing. Characters as flat as paint. Might as well had orcs and hobbits going at it. Period details were all wrong for anyone familiar with the Colorado front range in the 70's. Line inside a dive bar: "Can I get you a beer?" "Yeah, Coors if you have it" IF you have it? If there was ONE beer you could be sure any bar in Colorado had in the 70's, it was Coors.
Great if you like propaganda portrayed as a true story.
