Review of Blackhat (2015) by Andrew B — 27 Jan 2015
Blackhat is a well-directed but mostly inconsequential procedural action film from Michael Mann, made with style to spare and featuring some truly cool action scenes that are nevertheless sandwiched in-between a serviceable yet emotionally inert plot that seriously sags in its middle act.
For Mann fans Blackhat is worth checking out; otherwise there's really not much to get out of it.
