Review of Blackhat (2015) by Edmund C — 29 Jan 2015

Michael Manns techno thriller about a furloughed hacker genius released to hunt down a global cyber criminal. A bit of a mixed bag and doesn't work on all levels especially if you're not a fan of Manns style in his recent movies.

For those who do like his strive for realism and digivideo heavy visual style and ambient score this works almost as good as his previous outings. Definitely a different kind of a thriller from basic Hollywood formula which is nice.
