Review of Blackhat (2015) by Rob M — 20 Jan 2015
Everyone who designates this film a low rating is doing so due to their complete ignorance on the subject of the film. The reviews declaring the film is nonsense or boring is only depicting the reviewers glaring stupidity.
Anyone with knowledge in the Computer science realm will definitely find this film fascinating with plot twists that the layman cannot comprehend. Yes, the film is not a completely action packed film at all times; however it has a action packed storyline if you have the intelligence to understand it.
It appears as though the filmmakers dumbed down certain technical aspects of the film. The insensitive and obscene ratings this film received thus far is not necessarily a reflection of the film as it is society's stupidity.
In reality, this film could have very well been much, much more technical in the details it gives to the viewer on the linux program and the way the program runs on a global network. I really do appreciate the film as it is a rare film that does appeal mostly to those with high intellect and goes fairly deeply into a more complex topic.
Note that the film is technically accurate basing various mathmatical theories ,; however these theories are not conclusive and do have opposing theories. For example ZFC set theory vs a constructive approach.
One day this movie will be a classic, once the information in the movie is basic knowledge among the population.
