Review of Blackhat (2015) by Mitchell Z — 24 Jan 2015
Entertaining and thrilling at times, Blackhat is often a bore and drags on consistently. I am a fan of Chris Hemsworth and feel he can be a great respected actor, but he can't save the film from its flaws.
The plot is an interesting one and surprisingly intriguing, but the supporting characters are wasted and it leaves Hemsworth to have to try and save the movie from its muddled inconsistencies. I expected more from this film and Michael Mann, but Blackhat failed to deliver the sort of thriller I was hoping to get out of it.
