Review of Blackfish (2013) by Austin H — 23 Apr 2015
The movie Blackfish was amazingly a very emotionally moving, well thought out and written movie. Throughout the movie there was a very good story line that assisted in the emotional movement. I thought it really helped the story to hear eyewitness accounts of these devastating incidents.
I feel that the use of the video footage help to put into perspective how scary and awful all of the incidents were. I also feel that the showing of the whale's side helped in persuading the viewer that these acts of violence were not random.
I thought that it was especially moving when they showed how the mother would not stop looking for her child. All in all the movie is a must watch and is very moving and well written.
