Review of Blackboard Jungle (1955) by Gabe S — 06 Jul 2007
Although it's a bit sensational at times, this movie is a great entry in the "juvenile delinquent" subgenre. Switchblade wielding students smash a teacher's record collection, jump Glenn Ford in an alley, and threaten the welfare of his wife and child! Vic Morrow and Sidney Poitier are excellent as leaders of rival gangs.
