Review of Blackboard Jungle (1955) by Chris S — 03 Aug 2008
An amusing potrait of high school brutality. Similar issues of school violence and shootings echo today with Columbine, Virgina Tech, so on. What holds high is the performances from Glen Ford, Sidney Poitier, and a derranged Vic Murrow who you want to see dispatching those brats from The Parent Trap (Stephen King would agree with me on that).
