Review of Blackbeard, the Pirate (1952) by Bill T — 23 May 2012
Unexpectedly entertaining and highly amusing tale of Blackbeard, played just way up to the maximum hilt by Robert Newton. Scenechewing all throughout the movie, he leaves no star unscathed (although Tom Thatcher does try as Captain Morgan) The story also is a non stop gigglefest of buried treasure, turncoats and other pirate tales, yarrrrrrr.
All that's missing is the parrots yaerrrrr.
