Review of Black Widow (2021) by Curseofdark — 23 Jul 2021
I really enjoyed this movie. Yelena was a hoot through the whole thing, and the "parents that are still *way* too into each other" family dynamic they had going was pretty convincingly well written.
There are lots of neat costuming details (differing amounts of braids vrs "ties" to the family) and the action was well paced. It put some much needed perspective on Black Widow's character, and having her as an overprotective, overburdened, eldest sibling makes alot of her other appearances across the MCU make more sense (as opposed to the generic female death machine she seemed like before).
