Review of Black Widow (2021) by Mxhunteruwu — 15 Jul 2021
There are way more positive things to say about this movie than negative, and it was ultimately a great addition to the MCU. This movie should have come out numerous years ago, but at least it's out now.
Fight choreography was immaculate, and the story was overall pretty solid. Florence Pugh and David Harbour were of course stand-outs, but Scarlett Johansson had several moments to shine. Those that love a good thriller should enjoy Black Widow, even though it puts in a lot of work to set up potential future MCU projects.
Unlike several other MCU movies, Black Widow does a great job balancing believable humor with the more grounded and serious plot moments. The movie truly does "complete" Natasha's storyline in the MCU.
