Review of Black Swan (2010) by Kelly L — 18 Oct 2013
I am going to reveal that there is something lacking in me. I found the movie ugly and unpleasant. Not only did I not get it but I couldn't even tell what it was I wasn't getting. All I figured out is Portman is probably crazy but I'm not even sure of that.
The critical reviews tell me this movie has worth but I'll be darned if know what it is. Not recommended for those who lack a certain subtlety in their thinking. Wish I knew what that subtlety is.
