Review of Black Snake Moan (2006) by Patrick K — 27 Nov 2009
This movie is very strange, but the story has an unusual yet good moral to it. The cast was great for the most part. Christina Ricci was great and so was Samuel L. Jackson. Justin Timberlake didn't seem to fit very well though.
This movie is about a twisted life and the blues. There is one scene where Samuel Jackson was playing the guitar and it was storming. Ricci was holding his leg. This one scene alone made the movie very powerful.
A interesting film.
