Review of Black Snake Moan (2006) by Emil S — 26 Dec 2009
This film relies mostly on cheap thrills to try and keep the viewer's attention. sex, stereotypes, and social taboos. its also ironic how ricci criticized marketing execs for the promoting the exploitation of women, yet that's basically what much of this movie depicts.
a woman with emotional issues constantly apologizing for herself and the men around her apologizing for themselves because they cant resist her. smells like bullcrap to me.
