Review of Black Snake Moan (2006) by Scott W — 30 Dec 2009
I dare you not to like this movie. Samuel Jackson at his finest, and a blues-filled, realistic portrayal of the south. I would imagine that the idea of Christina Ricci chained to a radiator may have kept some people away from the box office, but this tale is oh-so-much more.
It nearly brings me to tears that Craig Brewer (writer/director of this and the amazing Hustle and Flow) is now working in television. Go watch this movie.
