Review of Black Snake Moan (2006) by Jeff B — 03 Jan 2010
Just a bizarre movie in general with a very lackluster ending. Great performances from Samuel L. Jackson and Christina Ricci aside, this movie had almost nothing going for it. The first act is incredibly slow-paced and redundant, the second act is pretty decent, and the third act just kills any momentum built in the second act.
Could have been much better than it was. Could have been more coherent than it was.
