Pretty good movie about southern man Sammy L J going through rough times trying to correct a sex-addicted troubled Christina Ricci. They both deserved some sort of award for their performances, IMO, or at least Ricci.
Nonetheless a good drama, though a bit more character depth would've helped. Oh and if that one guy (Ronnie's friend) got shot. I also wasn't a fan of the ending. Thus it was a borderline 3.
5-star movie for me, but fuck it--4 stars.
