Review of Black Snake Moan (2006) by Austin B — 12 Jan 2012
Is this a "safe" movie? No. Is it a clean movie? No. Is it a family movie? Heck no. The first scene sets that tone. I'm glad I watched this movie though because getting through all of what's shown, you get to see a great story with fleshed out characters living life the best they know how.
Jackson and Ricci would seem like an odd pairing but they play really well with one another. I'd recommend this for those with mature but open minds.
