Review of Black Sheep (2006) by Neil F — 26 Nov 2011

This is very reminiscent of early Peter Jackson. The make-up effects are strong thanks to Weta workshop but the story is juvenile and downright stupid. Naturally, the film is well aware of how silly it is.

I suppose part of its charm is in its absurdity. Personally, I find this kind of horror film (like Dead Alive) a total waste of time. It's simply for laughs with imbecile jokes and no tension or compelling characters.
