Review of Black Sea (2014) by Patrick K — 15 Dec 2014
In recent years Jude Law has had a good effect on films at least to me compared to some of his earlier stuff which wasnt great. This is a brilliant and gripping thriller set around a crew of 13 (6 British, 6 Russian and 1 American) who take control of a U Boat to go to a ridge in the middle of the Black Sea to recover millions of dollars worth of gold but with the clash of the nationalities a mission that could have been simple turns into a disaster.
I enjoyed this immensely as it was a well told and well acted film and kept me on edge the whole way through.
