Review of Black Sea (2014) by Alec B — 24 Jul 2015
The combination of submarines and an illegal hunt for Nazi gold had me on board from the get go. However, despite the solid premise I found the final product somewhat lacking. It teases cynicism from the beginning but delivers cheap sentiment in the ending.
Fortunately it does boast enough nail-biting sequences that I ultimately enjoyed it for the most part.
