Review of Black Sabbath (1963) by Cli O — 13 Nov 2008
NOTE: Review is for the English Language version.
Boris Karloff hosts three tales directed by Mario Bava. The first one, "The Drop of Water" is the best one, focusing on a crazy looking dead woman that haunts your dreams long after watching the film. The second story, "The Telephone" is an interesting little mystery. The last story, "The Wurdalak", is where the film really goes downhill. It's long and boring. I'm very interested to see the original Italian language version, as it is in a different order and "The Telephone" has some additional footage.
