Review of Black Rock (2012) by Nicholas H — 15 Jul 2013
Three female friends (using that term loosely) go on a camping trip to an island, only to run into someone they once knew from childhood. Things quickly go downhill from there in this low-budget thriller.
The movie moves at a brisk pace (and is under 80 minutes in length) and the action, once it starts, is virtually nonstop. Not a bad low-budget film, though given Mark Duplass and Katie Aselton are behind it, this isn't a surprise.
