As a black viewer I don't appreciate the way Disney tried to **** African culture and sell me an escapist fantasy about finding some magic rock that solves all of Africa's problems. It is also pandering in the extreme for a bunch of white critics to nod there heads and babble about what an Big Important Movie this is for being about super-powered Africans.

News flash, not all black people believe in weird magic animal spirits or think people should have bones in their noses and wear animal skins! Frankly I found this movie very problematic and a prime example of using propaganda to make money instead of telling a good story.
