Let's be honest super hero films require you to suspend your disbelief. There is no way in the world that Lois would not recognize Superman as Clark Kent just because of a suit and glasses. Everyone in Gotham would have to know that Batman is super rich to have access to what he uses and that would narrow the search for who is real quick.

Black Panther requires you to completely turn off your suspension of disbelief immediately. There are so many plot holes in this movie that it must have been a requirement for the screen writer. The logic of the film suggests that the city of Wakonda cares for others, and yet the neighbors of their majestic city live in poverty.

By the way, why would we farm rhinos? Well there is a battle at the end of the movie and in Infinity war, that's why. There is so much about this film that is illogical that you really have to convince yourself that it is not happening.

Maybe I'm just old. My idea for super hero's is Superman, Batman, BLADE, etc... I don't see Black Panther in the same reverence. He is a weak person given strength by a drug and he runs a society that forgets their enlightenment whenever they have a barbaric contest between two people who must beat themselves to a pulp to gain the throne.

Sorry, I didn't mean to spoil something but if you were a citizen of Wakonda and you were a killer with no loyalty like Erik Kilmonger (who is a baddie in the film) the society will allow you to rule if you can beat up the current king.

In the end Black Panther is just another explosion laden, turn off your brain film. It's not as interesting as other Super Hero films but for some reason it is a popular film. I'm not sure if it's because of political motives or because movies like Transformers, remakes, reboots and repeats are the norm.

If the world was color-blind (which it should be by now) I doubt this film would be remembered a year later. Hate me for that comment if you want, but I said it and I'm sticking to it.
