Review of Black Panther (2018) by Tim K — 21 Apr 2018
Preachy, poorly scripted, goofy most of the time, and smarmy, this goes down as one of the worst MCU moments, regardless of the mob-mentality and fear of hating a "black" movie. It squanders what little good it could do in ways that make The Dark World and Norton's Emo-Hulk look not just tolerable, but like cinematic works of art.
The villain is contrived and hardly capable of sympathy...the supporting cast act like Disney caricatures based on The Lion King...I could go on, but I'm afraid of being labeled something heinous (like Alt-Right) by people who cannot spell the word "heinous".
