Review of Black Panther (2018) by Erik C — 26 Feb 2018
While the aftrocentric costume design is some of the best design work I have seen in years, and some characters were fun, the majority of the movie was spent on a bland, rushed plot with almost no charm coming from the lead.
The end result is a movie that appears too scared to be adventurous, and unengaging throughout most of its way-too-long runtime.
