Review of Black Narcissus (1947) by Mark S — 12 Oct 2007
Another great film by Powell and Pressburger, I didn't enjoy it as much as A Matter of Life and Death or The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp but the cinematography is amazing and several images from the film really stick in your mind afterwards.
I was also surprised at how authentic the Himalayan sets were considering the entire film was shot in England and Ireland.
