Review of Black Narcissus (1947) by Vidal H — 14 Jul 2008
A truly gorgeous film, with rich technicolor, amazing camera work and a phenomenal set design. The story, the acting, the dialogue...everything is mystical and entrancing. A collision of East and West, the rational and the sensual, the spiritual and the material, the singular and the collective.
..just a sublime triumph of a movie.
