Review of Black Narcissus (1947) by Sandy K — 24 Jul 2010
1947 classic that won Oscar for cinematography. A story of culture clash and a war of wills, but a bit melodramatic for my taste. I really enjoyed the bonus feature on the DVD that had the cinematographer explain how he lit the scenes and showing how that lighting compared to famous art works.
