Review of Black Narcissus (1947) by Harpreet S — 24 Aug 2012
Excellent cinematography, and coloured photography, made all the more impressive since the film was primarily shot on a set. Great direction by Powell and Pressburger. That aside, everything else is secondary.
The visual look was really the only GREAT quality in the film, for me. Story, music, acting, etc. were all average.
