Review of Black Mass (2015) by Aaron S — 15 Oct 2015
Read the book years ago and am personally enthralled with Whitey Bulger...as for Black Mass it was a servicible crime drama with some great performances. The subject is so interesting that it should have been a masterpiece with more adept direction.
Johnny Depp's portrayal of Mr. Bulger is excellent and it's nice to see Jack Sparrow find his way back into a serious role.
