Review of Black Mass (2015) by Prince S — 07 Mar 2016
A Straight-forward dive into the south Boston criminal kingpin Whitey Bulger based on the 2001 book Black Mass: The True Story of an Unholy Alliance Between the FBI and the Irish Mob, director scott cooper delivers single deal of showcasing only a friendship alliance b/w two southie`s bulger and FBI John Connolly. Coming to the performances, it got little lame with respect to the gloomy narrative while having solid-rock cast.
Less than anticipated, but the soul of the film Johnny Depp was controlled, measured and swept the all odds.
Feels like, a documentary is better than this movie to watch, for taking a close. clean shot at the life of bulger.
