Review of Black Mass (2015) by Alec B — 27 Feb 2016
It's mostly a standard crime picture and one that's a little too thinly drawn. However, Depp's positively ghoulish performance (given while under layers of outlandish make-up) is so bizarre and creepy that it's hard not to get caught up in the movie every time he's onscreen lurking in the shadows.
