Review of Black Listed (2003) by Living My Life S — 08 Feb 2016

I'm surprised there's no reviews for this yet? This is where I say I'm the first person to review this and to go out and rent this movie. What I liked about this movie so much was that it was it's original idea about a group of friends that are lawyers taking the law into their own hand.

Yeah we've seen this with super heroes, but with Townsend original idea here he makes life into a movie a little more believable knowing it's lawyers who take the law into their own hand vs. a fiction super hero.

It's about how Townsend's character tries to test out this idea where he one night talks about bringing down criminals that deserve jail time, that get by through the courts of law. Since justice doesn't come to them he talks to his friends about how it would be a good idea to start punishing the criminals who need to be punished, who haven't been.

Just taken it off as a joke at first, but his other lawyer friends think it's a good idea and bring him into a load of trouble when his friends start killing off criminals with the help of some crooked cops.

It's a crazy crime drama with some violence. This movie is just so different from Townsend's other movies to prove he can do more than just comedy's. It's what Townsend compares to his own version of a Hitchcock movie.

Yeah it's independent and the quality of the movie isn't that great, but it's WORTH watching.
