Review of Black Hawk Down (2001) by Rajansatish P — 01 Apr 2011
It's pretty flawed. One of the biggest problems is probably that the movie doesnt really explain the purpose of the mission or why the somalis were so against the U.S. military in their country. The Somalis are portrayed as simply being evil, and they dont really look like somalis at all.
And you cant really tell the difference between any of the characters, besides some of the big actors. That said, it has some great action scenes and set pieces, though they overstay their welcome.
