Review of Black Hawk Down (2001) by Sam A — 25 Feb 2012
Black hawk down is a crystal clear example of how to make a war movie.I've read the novel and there is a few changes here there but this movie is as badass as the novel was.Ridley scott the guy behind alien,blade runner and gladiator really makes this film even better.
The story if you haven't heard about is based on a true story about a small mission that goes terribly wrongThe soldiers caught in that mess were us rangers,delta force and some navy seals.The action in this film is eye popping it was one gory film.
The acting in this is good it kept me engaged throughout.The cast is pretty astounding too there's josh hartnett,ewan mcgregor,tom sizemore,eric bana,sam shepard,jason isaacs just a lot of good actors okay.
What I really liked this film gives time for the characters to be known before the mission begins.This is one of my all time favorite movies.
