Review of Black Hawk Down (2001) by Alexandros T — 30 Aug 2012
This movie is about the events of the US's involvement of the Battle of Mogadishu and the infamous crash of two UH-60 Black Hawks (Most infamously Super-Six-Four). Ridley Scott's masterpiece shows you what a War really is.
It's graphic, it's brutal, It's basically not a pretty sight. Despite it's watery character development as its flaw, the film's action sequences evaporates those flaws, and they look as brutal as anyone can possibly conceive.
Great soundtrack (By the great Hans Zimmer), Great screenwriting, basically, Riley Scott has made a film making masterpiece to show the audience what the Battle of Mogadishu would had looked liked. This film is basically like the Battlefield: Bad Company of movies, in a more graphic, and more brutal portrait of War.
