This films intense, but the action goes on for so long that eventually it becomes too hard to keep up with and gets boring. However, the films qualities such as the acting, the cinematography and the visual work is incredible.

Overall though, the main problem is the fact that it struggled to capture the true essence of a war film. The greatest war films are about the war, the second best war films are about the soldiers. This isn't either. Its about the battle. If I wanted to see a film about a battle, I'd watch Star Wars. Also, Black Hawk Down attempts to glorify a failed event and make America look like a successful heroic battalion regardless of how they failed in this situation.
