Is it repetitive? Yes, but so was the actual incident that "Black Hawk Down" is based on and while the filmmakers regrettably absolve the United States of any wrongdoing by exorcising any insight into Somalia's contempt for U.
S. military personnel on their soil "Black Hawk Down" is nonetheless a striking combat thriller.
