Review of Black Hawk Down (2001) by Mike J — 05 May 2015
One of the most brutal, unrelenting, engrossing war films of all time. What Black Hawk Down does so well is putting the audience right into the war zone, making them experience what is like to be a soldier.
It is a visceral and unforgettable experience. Props to everyone who was involved in the project, especially director Ridley Scott for vividly recreating the chaos and horror of a war. It hits you real hard.
What a marvelous achievement.
