Review of Black Dynamite (2009) by Allen B — 14 Sep 2010
I struggled with this rating for two reasons: 1) It was a very clever idea, never done before in film. 2) The story line was a joke (which was probably the point anyway). Meaning, this movie had a very good pro and a very bad con.
But I gave it the benefit of the doubt simply because the cinematography was so well duplicated of a 70's film that I was sold. It really captured the time-frame. Should there be a Black Dynamite 2, I'll be a lot more critical.
