Review of Black Death (2010) by Noel K — 19 Jun 2011
I would like to start by saying that Sean Bean was top knotch as always. While the film had a strong moral filled plot there was nothing that really wowed me. Very minimal character developement, excluding Osmond who undergoes a dramatic change in a rather short amount of time.
The ending was also very lack luster as the morals they fought and died to defend are quickly abandoned. Alas the film did show a very interesting side of the dark ages, as well as displayed several interesting and entertaining battle scenes.
Overall the film was interesting and worth seeing, but do not expect to walk away having really gained anything from it.
